Can I submit a single-arch case?

Can I submit a single-arch case?

Yes. Single-arch options appear in the package selection at submission, and single-arch retainer remakes can be submitted on their own without the opposing arch.

When submitting

Select the single-arch option that matches your treatment intention. Note in the prescription why the opposing arch is not being treated, particularly where a denture, implant-retained prosthesis or existing restorative work is involved. This helps the planning orthodontist understand the occlusal target.

Single-arch retainer remakes

If only one retainer needs remaking, you can submit a single-arch scan for a single-arch remake. You do not have to submit both arches together.

Pricing

Single-arch options are priced separately from dual-arch. Refer to the current price list for your group.

Setting patient expectations

Single-arch treatment constrains what can be achieved occlusally. Where the untreated arch is the limiting factor, make that explicit to the patient before treatment starts and record it, rather than explaining it at the finishing stage when the result is already fixed.
