The two options

• 0.8mm: almost identical in feel to the active aligner, which tends to produce better compliance. The standard choice.
• 1.0mm: slightly thicker and firmer, and more resistant to wear. Recommended for bruxism patients.

Both are available for single-arch and dual-arch cases. Discuss which is appropriate with reference to the patient's bruxism history and the amount of correction being held.
