DM Adaptive mode: what it does and when to use it

Adaptive mode measures how quickly each aligner becomes passive and tells the patient when to move on, rather than leaving them on a fixed schedule. It is switched on per patient by us, so ask if you want it.

How it works

  1. We activate Adaptive mode on the patient's DM record.
  2. DM tracks how often the aligners reach full passivity at a micron level.
  3. The patient gets a personalised prompt to move to the next aligner, typically somewhere between four and seven days.

Important: Patients still cannot advance on their own judgement. Only DM can confirm an aligner is fully passive, so the prompt has to come from the app.

Who it suits

Motivated patients who respond well to data, and cases where you want tracking compliance as tight as you can get it.
