SmartSTL assessments run automatically at the end of each 12 aligner stage. You can also ask for one mid stage if you are worried about tracking.
At the end of each stage, DM and OneSmile run the superimposition. Nothing is needed from the practice.
If you suspect a tracking problem before the end of a stage, ask for one and describe what you are seeing.
The team reviews the superimposition and either confirms the patient is on track, recommends IPR or a recall, or adjusts the next stage plan.
